1. Nature of Service & DMV Disclaimer

TemporaryTags.net is a private, third-party administrative vehicle documentation expediting and preparation service. TEMPORARYTAGS.NET IS NOT A GOVERNMENT AGENCY, IS NOT OWNED BY THE GOVERNMENT, AND IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH, ENDORSED BY, OR OPERATED BY ANY STATE DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES (DMV), MOTOR VEHICLE COMMISSION (MVC), DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (DOT), OR HIGHWAY PATROL.
All transit tags, drive-away permits, and associated temporary registration documents are facilitated through licensed commercial automotive dealer networks, registered agents, and state-authorized transit channels to permit short-term, legal vehicle transport.
2. Client Responsibilities & Accurate Information
By submitting a service request, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to enter into binding agreements.
- You are the rightful owner, designated purchaser, authorized transport driver, or commercial agent of the vehicle described.
- All information submitted—including the 17-digit VIN, personal identification, Bill of Sale, Title, and insurance documents—is authentic, completely accurate, and unaltered.
- You maintain valid automotive liability insurance on the specified vehicle meeting or exceeding statutory minimums in all jurisdictions through which you travel.
Fraud Warning: The submission of falsified titles, altered bills of sale, fraudulent insurance binders, or VINs associated with stolen property will result in immediate termination of service without refund. We proactively cooperate with law enforcement, the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB), and state vehicle fraud units.
3. Purpose, Permitted Use & Mounting
Temporary tags and drive-away permits issued via our service are strictly intended for short-term transit, transport, title transfer, and vehicle relocation purposes (e.g., driving a newly acquired private sale or auction vehicle to your home jurisdiction, garage, or testing station).
- Temporary tags must not be altered, duplicated, photocopied, transferred to another vehicle, or displayed after their stated expiration date.
- The client is exclusively responsible for properly printing the document at 100% scale and mounting it visibly inside the vehicle’s rear windshield or designated plate bracket in compliance with applicable road codes.
- You must keep a printed or digital copy of the accompanying temporary registration certificate and valid insurance card inside the vehicle at all times.
4. Turnaround Times & Delivery
While expedited orders are typically processed and delivered electronically via email or WhatsApp in under 30 minutes, delivery timeframes are estimates and subject to document verification clearance, third-party network availability, and server operational status. TemporaryTags.net is not liable for transport delays arising from inaccurate VIN submissions, unreadable document scans, or external agency system outages.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Due to the digital, custom, and instantaneous nature of vehicular administrative processing:
- Once Processing Begins: Once vehicle verification has commenced or registration credentials have been submitted to authorized issuing partners, all fees become strictly non-refundable, as non-recoverable administrative and licensing costs are incurred immediately.
- Customer Errors: Refunds will not be issued for orders delayed or rejected due to customer submission of incorrect VINs, invalid IDs, canceled insurance policies, or vehicles with active reported theft flags.
- System Rejections: If an order cannot be completed due to internal technical limitations on our end prior to document issuance, a full refund will be credited to the original payment method.
6. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TemporaryTags.net, its directors, employees, and authorized affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from:
- Client failure to maintain active vehicle liability insurance.
- Mechanical failure, road accidents, or impoundments incurred during vehicle transit.
- Traffic citations, moving violations, or local municipal parking fines.
- Failure of the driver to present required registration certificates upon lawful law enforcement request.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TemporaryTags.net against any claims, liabilities, damages, and legal expenses arising from your misuse of the issued credentials or breach of these Terms.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
